Contributions to the Saint John’s Fund help continue our mission. Your tax-deductible gifts nourish the growth of our programs and ensure this great tradition of service continues for generations to come. The Saint John’s Fund offers supporters five areas in which to partner in the mission of the Parish.
Youth and Families
Children and families are a vital element of our community. We welcome young people of all ages in our worship and as full members of the Parish. Saint John’s offers a range of programs for children and youth but we can do much more.
Benevolent Activities
Saint John’s is a place in which faith and service to others are nurtured and encouraged. Our volunteers and staff provide emergency referrals to those in crisis, food for the needy, counseling and pastoral care to the sick and elderly. The demands are constant and we rely on our friends and supporters to help fund these vital programs.
Arts and Culture
Saint John’s is a major performing arts and cultural venue in the Stonnington municipality. The Church hosts regular concerts and exhibitions, art classes, musical instruction, lectures and discussions on our cultural heritage.
Education
Saint John’s is a vibrant forum for education and public discourse. It provides diverse opportunities for people to explore their beliefs and engage in discussion around current social and ethical issues. Saint John’s also offers internships in supervised ministry for young people wishing to explore their vocation in the Church.
The Saint John’s of East Malvern Foundation
The Saint John’s Foundation was established in 2006 to provide a long-term secure base for Anglican ministry in Malvern East. It aims to build a body of funds to ensure the restoration of the Church is completed and to support the mission of the Parish for future generations.

Whereas regular pledging ensures that the general expenses of ministry and maintenance are met, gifts to the Saint John’s Fund enables support for specific ministries and activities. It provides a stable base for implementing dedicated programs now and into the future. And gifts to The Saint John’s Fund are tax-deductible.
